New - East Coast Trip Panoramic Pictures
The group picture from the East Coast Trip has arrived and is available for pick-up in room 601.

New - QSP Cookie Dough Delivery
QSP Cookie Dough orders will be delivered Thursday, April 17th to room 601. Mr. Resley and the ASB will have all orders ready to be picked up at 3:00, and will be on site until 7:00 for those that work late

It is highly encouraged that students who sold over FIVE boxes have their parents pick them up because the dough is heavy and cumbersome. Orders MUST be picked up Thursday as Standley does not have the room or facilities to store the dough (which requires refrigeration).

ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

April 30th - Minimum Day
Student dismissal at 1:00 p.m.

April 28th - May 9th: STAR CST Testing
Standley will administering the STAR CST test over two weeks, beginning the week of April 28th. Standley will be testing on:

  • Tuesday 4/29 and 5/6
  • Wednesday 4/30 and 5/7
  • Thursday 5/1 and 5/8

On these days, Standley will observe a modified schedule, available here (PDF File)

April 25th - 6th Grade Dance
Standley's 6th grade dance will be held on Friday, April 25th in the Standley Activity room from 3:00 - 4:45. Tickets cost $3.00, which includes food, drink, and secure storage of backpacks and belongings. There will also be a late bus provided for those students that ride the bus.

April 18th - Principal's Chat
The principal chat will be held at Standley in the Media Center on April 18th, Friday from 9:00am to 10:00am. Please join the Administrative Team to share with you all of the end year activities that are planned, STAR testing calendar/preparations and a mini-presentation on Cyber Bullying.

April 13th - April 18th: Yosemite Field Trip
(7th grade students only)

April 9th - Minimum Day
Student dismissal at 1:00 p.m.

March 29th - April 5th: East Coast Field Trip
(8th grade students only)

March 28th - Progress Report Distribution
Progress reports for the first six-week grading period will be distributed to students seventh period.

March 25th - East Coast Trip Parent Meeting
Standley will hold an informational meeting in the Auditorium @ 6:30 for parents of students going on this year's East Coast Trip. It is extremely important that parents attend this meeting.

March 13th - Seminar Program Class Tours
Prospective Seminar students and their families are invited to observe the typical schedule of a Seminar Student. There will be both a morning and afternoon tour.

Afternoon Session
1:15 - 1:40 Plenary session in Media Center
